JOEL WILLIS
Joel Willis was raised in Alexandria, Virginia, in a God-fearing family. At 14, he had a life-changing encounter with the presence of God that awakened a deep desire to know the Father and live as His son. Soon after, he started a prayer meeting at his high school, where he witnessed Jesus bringing hope and transformation to students.
At 19, Joel moved to Dallas, Texas, to join a prayer community and grow deeper in his relationship with God. There he was discipled and served through leading worship, discipling others, and ministering to youth. During this season, God gave him a passion for equipping the younger generation of the Church.
Since then, Joel has devoted his life to teaching the Gospel and revealing the Father’s heart wherever he goes, close and far. He is honored to serve at Whole Word Fellowship and be part of this church family.

Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
