LIFE GROUPS
Life Groups are a safe place to grow spiritually and build authentic, life-giving relationships with one another. We believe God created us for community, and as we gather to devote ourselves to God's Word, pray together, encourage one another, and share life, we grow in our faith and reflect the love of Christ to those around us.
"And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers... And day by day... they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved." — Acts 2:42–47
Life GROUP - FAQS
-
Our desire is to grow together as a church family by building deeper, meaningful, and life-giving relationships. We believe that God helps us grow as we gather regularly, study His Word, pray for one another, and walk through life together. As we grow in our faith and love for one another, we become more like Christ and reflect His love to those around us.
-
Each gathering will include worship, discussion, sharing and prayer, and food (optional).
-
We currently have groups meeting in various areas surrounding the church.

We are meeting twice a month
-
Some groups are open to all and other groups are gender and/or life stage specific (single, married, family, etc). You can join any group that is open to your stage in life.
All Groups are "open" until groups/homes reach max capacity.
Start a Life Group?
If you're already connected at Whole Word Fellowship and have a heart to help others grow in Christ, we would love for you to prayerfully consider leading a Life Group. Life Groups are one of the primary ways we build authentic community and grow together as disciples of Jesus.
To help set each group up for a healthy and fruitful season, we ask that Life Group leaders:
Have completed the Discover class.
Gather at least five committed group members before launching.
Meet twice a month during each Life Group semester.
Commit to serving for one ministry year, which includes three semesters:
September–November
January–March
April–June
Keep the group open to others who are eligible to join.
Life Groups may be organized around:
Gender (Men's or Women's)
Life stage (Singles, Married Couples, Families, Young Adults, Empty Nesters, etc.)
Thank you for prayerfully considering this opportunity to invest in others. We look forward to seeing how God uses your group to encourage, strengthen, and grow our church family together.
