Missions

We are very focused on foreign missions and outreach at Whole Word Fellowship. In 2011, 32% of our church income went to support different missionaries and missions organizations. In addition to financial contributions and humanitarian aid, WWF provides direct support and guidance for our primary focus ministries in Sierra Leone and the Philippines. In the predominantly Muslim nation of Sierra Leone we partner with Gethsemane Evangelical Ministries (GEM), soon to be reestablished as “Whole Word for the Whole World Church.” This nation-wide ministry is led by Pastor Sidikie Kamara and his wife. In the last twelve years this ministry has grown from two local churches to 24. They also provide humanitarian relief, farming projects, Christian Public Schools, a Discipleship Training program and an orphanage. Property for four more churches has been acquired and more building projects are awaiting funding for this year. Additionally, Pastor Sidikie and his team have planted two local churches in neighboring Liberia and more are soon to be added.

In 2003, a missionary team from Whole Word Fellowship led over 40 people to the Lord and established a church in the Philippines. This church is located in Talibutab Norte, a rural farming area about three hours north of Manila. The church is pastored by Lark Galdican and now known as Jesus Christ International Ministries (NE-JCIM). Together, we provide spiritual guidance and humanitarian programs for a growing congregation. This year we will host a major regional Pastor’s Conference there to plan for a large crusade outreach in 2013, featuring speakers from around the world.
